2024 Conference in Gulf Shores

The Alabama Fruit & Vegetable Growers Association (AFVGA) Annual Conference and Trade Show is Feb. 14-16, 2024, in Gulf Shores.

 

Before the conference gets kicked off,

you may want to join in an “Open House” style farm tour that will take place at farms on your way to Gulf Shores.

 

The conference will make available 28 educational sessions in the four different tracts (Vegetable Production, Orchard Fruit & Nuts, Small Fruit, and Marketing & Farm Management). Workshops continue through the conference with opportunities to learn about cut-flower production, hydroponic production, produce food safety, labor challenges and solutions, and the 2nd annual Alabama variety trial showcase.

 

The tradeshow features over 30 venders who are ready to provide Alabama farmers with products and services to better their farms.

 

The AFVGA board is most proud of the networking opportunities provided throughout the conference, which is most on display during the AFVGA Luau that takes place with a beautiful gulf view and live music. We hope to see you in Gulf Shores.
